But with its beach location on the town's best surf beach, Serena Buzios Resort is a budget-chic resort hotel high on style at a great on price even during holiday high season. Visitors arrive to a design compound just off the Geribá sand concealed within a tropical forest that's walking distance to hotspots like Fish Bone beach club. A modernist style envelopes a series of traditional cottages and bungalows with terracotta roofs that contain guest room etched in wood slating and native details. At the center of the resort is a rectangular pool deck trimmed in teak decking near a stylish outdoor bar and terrace eatery. Inside, more formal Alma Resto-Lounge offers a full dinner service with gourmet edge available to outside guests or as full-board supplement to overnight visitors.
